‘Varavu Ettana Selavu Pathana’, the Nasser-Radhika starrer which had a decent run in Tamil Nadu more than a decade ago, will be soon remade in Kannada. The Sandalwood version has been titled ‘Hendtheera Darbar’, sources say.

With Ramesh Aravindh and Meena replacing Nasser and Radhika respectively, the Kannada movie is being produced by GR on behalf of GR Gold Films. The production house had come out with some Tamil films like ‘Sound Party’ and ‘Manu Needhi’ before.

GR also plays a key role in the movie. “Necessary changes will be made to the script to make it more apt to the present times and suit to the taste of the Kannada audience. Plans are on to release the film as soon as possible,” sources add.

‘Varavu Ettana Selavu Pathana’ was directed by V Shekar, who is a name to reckon with, in Tamil cinema as far as ‘family-oriented subjects’ are concerned. The film also had Goundamani and Vadivelu in pivotal roles.
